Stronger Together
Community is more than just a placeIt’s a purpose.
A proud partnership between 10 registered clubs in the Tweed Heads local area, working together to build a stronger, more connected local community.
Our purpose
Stronger together for the Tweed
Our Tweed Community Clubs donate more than $2.5 million every year to local charities and community organisations throughout the Tweed Shire.
And through shared goals and collaboration our impact can reach further. Tweed Community Clubs is the realisation of that vision — a partnership designed to amplify our positive impact across the region.
But our contribution doesn’t end with financial support. We’re providing over 650 local jobs, reinvesting millions back into the local economy by sourcing goods and services from local suppliers, and supporting countless trades and industries that help keep our venues running. We’re also dedicated to nurturing local sports teams and providing space for community groups, standing by their side year after year.
Beyond the dollars and cents, we offer a safe, welcoming social space for more than 130,000 members from the Tweed and beyond — a place where connections are made and strengthened. Because at the heart of everything we do, one thing is clear: we are stronger together.
We employ more than 681 staff, returning up to $34.8 million to our local economy in wages.
We provide $2 million per year to support 45 local sports teams.
We spend a combined $36 million+ on local suppliers, who in turn employ local people.
We donate critical working space for 39 community groups who often meet and operate from our venues.
We spend $3.6 million supporting local and touring artists.
A safe, welcoming social space for more than 130,000 members from the Tweed and beyond.
