Anzac Day across Tweed Community Clubs

Tweed Community Clubs proudly support local Anzac Day commemorations, providing opportunities for the community to gather, reflect and honour those who have served.

Across the region, services, marches and community events will take place throughout the day, followed by opportunities to come together at your local club. Here’s what’s happening, club by club.

Murwillumbah Services Club

Murwillumbah Services Club warmly invites the community to take part in a full day of Anzac Day commemorations and gatherings.

Dawn Service

  • Remembrance Place Cenotaph (Tumbulgum Road)
  • Assemble at 5:00am for a 5:15am service

Veterans Breakfast

  • From 5:45am at Murwillumbah Services Memorial Club
  • Free for veterans (with breakfast ticket) and children under 12
  • Guests: $5 per person
  • Tickets available on the morning at reception

March

  • Assemble at the intersection of Wollumbin Street & Queensland Road (near the Fire Station)
  • Form up at 10:00am · March commences at 10:30am

Morning Service

  • Remembrance Place Cenotaph
  • Arrival 10:40am for a 10:45am service

Veterans Lunch

  • From 12:00pm at Murwillumbah Services Memorial Club
  • $10 per person (subsidised by the Sub-Branch) · Partners welcome
  • Menu: alternate drop of pork spare ribs and baked barramundi
  • RSVP and pre-payment required by 20 April 2026 at reception

Twin Towns

Twin Towns will host a full day of Anzac Day commemorations and community activities.

Dawn Service

  • 5:45am commencement

Morning Program

  • Gunfire breakfast
  • Morning concert featuring music, stories and wartime tributes

Main Service

  • 11:00am
  • Post-march refreshments for students, families and attendees

Afternoon

  • Free live entertainment from 1:00pm (The Stage, 18+)

Pottsville Beach Sports Club

Pottsville Beach Sports Club will host a full morning of Anzac Day commemorations, followed by community activities.

Service & March

  • March and service commence at 8:00am

Post-Service Gathering

  • Free members breakfast at 9:00am, served by the Lions Club

Afternoon Activity

  • 2-Up from 1:00pm, facilitated by the Pottsville Football Club

Club Tweed

Club Tweed will be open throughout Anzac Day, offering a relaxed setting for members and guests to gather following services.

Club Activity & Entertainment

  • Club open from 10:00am
  • Live music from 7:30pm
  • Courtesy bus operating from 5:00pm

Food & Dining

  • Café open from 10:00am, including homemade Anzac cookies
  • Bistro open from 11:30am (lunch) and 5:30pm (dinner)
  • $17 meals available for lunch and dinner · Happy hour from 4:00pm

South Tweed Sports Club

South Tweed Sports Club will operate as usual on Anzac Day, offering a full schedule of activities and entertainment.

Club Activity & Entertainment

  • Jazz and Swing entertainment
  • Anzac raffles (Saturday night members raffle, with profits donated to Vietnam Veterans)
  • Badge draw · Gift card giveaway

Food & Beverage

  • Happy hour from 3:00pm – 5:00pm
  • Chef’s specials available · No public holiday surcharge

Additional Services

  • Free courtesy bus operating in the afternoon

Cabarita Beach Sports Club

Cabarita Beach Sports Club will offer a full day of Anzac Day activities.

Club Activity & Entertainment

  • Club open from 10:00am
  • 2-Up from 1:00pm
  • Live music from 4:30pm
  • Courtesy bus operating from 2:00pm

Food & Dining

  • Bistro open all day · Aussie BBQ specials available

Kingscliff Beach Bowls Club

Kingscliff Beach Bowls Club will support multiple local services and provide a full morning program for the community.

Early Morning Services

  • March begins from Village Lane & Crescent Street (4:10am)
  • Cudgen Dawn Service at 4:28am (Cudgen Cenotaph)
  • Kingscliff Dawn Service at 6:00am (Rowan Robinson Park)

Club Activity

  • Bar open from 6:30am
  • Gunfire breakfast from 7:00am

Mid-Morning Program

  • March assembles at 10:00am (outside the club) · commences at 10:30am
  • Main service at the Kingscliff Cenotaph following the march

Seagulls Club

Seagulls Club will host a full afternoon of Anzac Day activity and entertainment.

Afternoon Activities

  • 2-Up from 12:00pm

Live Entertainment

  • The Jacks performing live from 3:00pm – 6:00pm in the Lakeview Lounge

Food & Beverage

  • Dining and bar service available throughout the day
