Thursday the 23rd of April 2026, Tweed Community Clubs joined forces with South Tweed Sports Club, Coolangatta Bowls Club and Club Tweed for Bowl for Our Kids — a day that brought people together for a great cause.
The greens were full of energy, with teams of all skill levels getting involved, sharing a few laughs, and enjoying the chance to connect. From first-time bowlers to regular players, it was a relaxed and enjoyable day that reflected the strength of the local community.
While the atmosphere made it a great day out, the purpose behind it made it even more meaningful.
By the end of the event, an incredible $9,851 had been raised to support the purchase of vital paediatric equipment at Tweed Valley Hospital — a result that will have a real impact on local families.
Bowl for Our Kids continues to show how simple community events can deliver something bigger — bringing people together, creating positive experiences, and contributing to essential healthcare in the region.
